Hello, design enthusiasts! I’m Andrea, a Peruvian designer based in Milan, Italy. With over five years of experience in the interior design industry, both in Peru and internationally, I’ve had the pleasure of working with various design studios, collaborating closely with architects, product designers, and graphic designers.

 

Moving from Peru to Europe has not only enriched me culturally but also provided a new perspective on how design studios operate. While design is my passion, I’ve learned the importance of balancing time, health, and personal life with professionalism. Productivity is essential, and it’s equally important to help clients and managers understand that the quality of a project depends on both time and budget.

The creative industry is challenging, especially today when many face underpaid jobs, intense competition, and supervisors who may not value their employees’ time or treat them personally.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with architectural and design firms such as Mari Cooper Arquitectura, Diseño y Decoración, Claudio Bellini, Masquespacio, and Fabio Novembre, as well as several independent architects.

I am currently co-founding STUDIOYAKU, a Milan-based design studio that blends Peruvian heritage with Milanese style.
